ASSIGNMENT

Generocity.org is a ‘platform for social good in Greater Philadelphia’. A place to stay informed, get connected and be involved in Community Based Organizations (CBOs). The client needed a way for users to search for grant opportunites along with job and volunteering positions while having the capability to create fundraising events and generate news stories. Generocity.org’s website concept was a ‘work-in-progress’ upon A + L involvement and specific projects were built upon an established framework.

A + L working up with BlueCap Web Design to create the “Volunteer Project” using WordPress in order for users to sign up and manage volunteer projects with team players. A + L conducted a series of load-tests to help sustain the increase of user activity caused by Genorocity’s marketing initiative. A + L also created the ‘Fundraiser’ section of the website, allowing users to start fundraisers and sift through a database list of on going fundraisers.
